Kishore Mahbubani has dedicated five decades of his life to public service. In his 33 years as a Singapore diplomat, Kishore served in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 1973/74 during the war. He also served two stints as Singapore’s Ambassador to the UN (1984-1989 and 1998-2004). He also held the position of Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1994 to 1998. He was also conferred the Public Administration Medal (Gold) by the Singaporean Government in 1998.
He was appointed the Founding Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in August 2004. Kishore has received global recognition for his intellectual contributions, having been listed several times in the list of top global thinkers by Foreign Policy and Prospect Magazines.
Kishore was the founding chairman of the nominating committee of the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize (2009 to 2019). He has participated in the annual meetings of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos twenty times, serving also in several WEF committees. In April 2019, he was the second Singaporean to be elected as an honorary international member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, which has honoured distinguished thinkers, including several of America’s Founding Fathers, since 1780.
Goola Warden is executive editor of The Edge Singapore, a leading weekly investment and business publication with an increasing online presence. She has been covering S-REITs since their inception in 2002. Her previous experiences include working as an analyst at OUB Securities, a subsidiary of Overseas Union Bank.
Eric has more than 15 years’ experience in fund management. He was a partner in a boutique investment fund house before he co-founded Aggregate Asset Management in 2012. He is experienced in managing assets for sovereign funds, high net worth individuals and other institutions. His previous work experience also includes the Ministry of Defence, Motorola, Citibank and United Overseas Bank. Eric earned his BSc in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore and completed his CFA Charter in 2002.
Harry has 25 years of cumulative experience in new business development, listing companies, managing M&A and strategy consulting. With his co-founders, he successfully listed an e-learning company in Malaysia and sold it to a family office. He is a recipient of the United States Fulbright Scholarship to study e-commerce and a graduate from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Business specializing in Financial Analysis. As a venture builder for an Indonesian family office, he has spearheaded several ESG-linked projects, particularly in water treatment, viral prevention and agritech in Asia. He is also the current Co-Lead Instructor in NUS Graduate Research Innovation Programme (GRIP) to jumpstart deep tech ventures, many of which are AI-centric.
